Ask all the fighters making 6 digits or better if boxing is dying.

Ive been saying and still saying among boxings biggest problems is the fact it has a horrible power structure with alphabet groups, boxers, managers, promoters, networks and commissions all with far too much power to push and pull things in the sport making it highly problematic for things to ever go in the right direction for very long. Fix that and boxing experiences far fewer downturns in popularity and streamlines all the biggest fights into happening when they are hot and fresh instead of slow cooked for months or years in the worst cases. No reasonable young sports fan wants to wait til they have another birthday to see Canelo vs GGG so Canelo, GBP and GGG can make a few extra million dollars than the millions they will make if it happened back in May for an easy example.

You are right to an extent, but you can ask who Cain velasquez is,people knows(list goes on and on)
My thing is,You think fans know who crawford is?you think people know who joshua is?the problem I see is not so much as if who they know or what they know, but what I am sure is that most people(ask)feels MMA might be a bit more entertaining than a boxing match and that to me is sad.Friends I used to go to bars to watch Boxing, now they dont even want to go with me to watch Pacquaio, and I dont even watch PBC(personal interest and reasons).

Boxing is no different. People need to relax a tad. We're in the classic lull any sport experiences in-between eras. We're just now exiting the May/Pac era, probably headed into the Joshua/Canelo/Spence era or something. Once a few stars pick up mainstream steam the entire sport will start to emerge again..
Going back to my previous question, your boxing interest hasnt faded not one bit?

I'm probably more excited than ever with all the young talent coming up. This has the potential to be an incredible era of boxing.

I consider myself a hardcore fan. I boxed a little before the age of 10 and after and followed the sport a long time and just like you, I have lost a lot of interest in this sport. Sometimes I feel guilty cause I didnt know X fight was coming up or missed it but then I think, can you really blame me? I'm on the same boat as you so I understand where you're coming from. At this point I'm not sure if I'm here and follow the sport out of just pure habit or if I still feel something for it. At times I tune in to a fight as well and don't even pay attention to it like I used to either.
