Thats what everyone does lol. HBO & Showtime are the two en****** in boxing with the highest average card expenses in the boxing business right now despite PBC's big bankroll. Sure PBC gots some big ones, usually just for the A side doe, & plenty of people saying they are overpaying Erislandy Lara or Robert Guerrero or whatever, but their average show cost is actually much lower cuz they do a ton of FS1 & Bounce cards that probably got a $100,000-$300,000 budget. If you wanna get into the bigger money for both sides, A & B, you go to HBO, Showtime or their PPV arms.
Why Isn't Garcia/Thurman PPV

Yea right? These noob boxing fans complain about the dumbest things like a fighter's purse, ppv numbers , and now being on free tv is a problem.
All fights are " supposed " to be on network tv.Comment

I'm not talking about that. I'm saying when people wanna make big fights they go to HBO or Showtime. Top Rank does it. Golden Boy does it. Main Events does it. GYM does it. All the promoters are doing it & ultimately PBC is kinda like a hybrid network/promoter type entity in boxing that can play both sides when need be. So sorta like HBO or Showtime are defacto promoters PBC can be a defacto promoter or be a defacto promoter of a defacto promoter when outsourcing their product to Showtime.
People are just not understanding that PBC is trying to create a audience on free TV that has abandoned boxing & still not fully comeback to the sport so yea when big fights need to be made some of them will need to be subsidized by Showtime or HBO in the future til that free TV audience is more viable $-wise.
Some boxing fans don't wanna be understanding of that cuz they aren't fans of PBC for whatever reason they aren't fans of it. But looking at PBC as a reasonable person & unaffiliated or less affiliated, at least, boxing fan to any one entity its easier to see the many ways in which PBC is attempting to do business to grow the boxing fanbase along with trying to maximize their bankroll with managing budgeting issues for their ~4 year initial runout where they are the irrational player in the boxing world.Comment
