    Why Isn't Garcia/Thurman PPV

Thurman drew 3.15M viewers fighting Porter, that fight would be big it could possibly sell 500K-900K, it will all action from start to end

The winner versus Crawford certainly ticks the box.

Because the whole idea of PBC is making boxing mainstream again. So the more people who watch it, the better.

I don't think the fight would do more than 200/250k on PPV.

I am just glad a unification fight is happening and wish they would happen much more often. If the fight is free that just means I don't have to wait a week to watch it on cable tv. I never buy any fights at $50 or more. I love boxing but not $50 worth to watch a fight live I can see for free in one week on Direct TV I am already paying for. They almost always show these pay for view fights for free on HBO or Showtime the following Saturday and that's when I watch them. I am sure both boxers are being well paid. Just enjoy a great fight and be glad it's free.

Why would anyone even complain about a fight not being on PPV. That's a good thing.

There is not a chance in hell that Thurman/Garcia sells more than 200k.

Boxing fans got stockholm syndrome & **** things have been niched for so long. "Please make me pay for this fight" lol.

Ideally I think we got a bunch of should be or could be PPV fights on regular TV with PBC around. I'd hope PBC doesn't ever attempt a PPV (although I do tend to think a PBC fighter will be a part of a PPV at some point in the future & PBC could have some upside in that PPV) cuz I think boxing needs to widen its audience for future money more than it needs to maximize its immediate money via PPV. The long game strategy is what boxing needs to focus on right now before the average age of a boxing fan is 65 years old.

Boxing fans are too fickle to still try and sell them PPV's right now which is why most of the PPV's this year been a FLOP and I don't expect Pacquiao vs Vargas to do great and Duva not dong much to promote Ward vs Kovalev, I think those numbers will be AVERAGE as well especially with it being a week after a LOADED UFC 205 Card I don't see people ordering 3 PPV's 3 Weeks in a row even if they have the money

                    Putting it on CBS>PPV
