While GGG is a great fighter and already a top 5 middleweight champ, his lack of speed/quickness will be his undoing. Golovkin's power is his gift while Canelo was gifted power & quickness. Both are beyond skilled.

Canelo's quickness will be too much. Beating GGG to the punch often. GGG will have his moments but he won't KO Canelo. Alvarez is a skilled veteran, future HOFer and much too durable for that.

In a boxing match, which this fight will be, you'll see Canelo at his best and he will win a seemingly close (8-4) fight.

"he pays his guys shhh to fight him"

"Fighters can't make much money fighting him"

Folks forget promoting is a two way street, those guys have managers and promoters who can make offers and take over the event right? See Eddie Hearn, he took all the risk and made Golovkin an offer, his fighter just happened to turn to chicken shhh so he had to throw in a sacrificial lamb to not lose his pay. Don't like what's being offered? Still want the fight talk to your promoter and tell him to get you Golovkin..plain and simple.

Oh and yes he isn't superman and he will lose eventually like the 99% of fighters who step in a ring. Oscar and Canelo walked away from a guaranteed way of locking up the lionshare of profits as defending champions.

Schaefer accidentally admits the way he and Al Haymon advise their fighters to avoid the best fights.

When Canelo wanted to fight Mayweather or when he wanted to fight Austin Trout, I told him it was too early.
No wonder the best rarely fight the best under Haymon (or Haymon/Schaefer when they worked together).

What's funny is Brook had to pay GGG because GGG couldn't afford to pay Brook. $1.5 million man is the MOST his team can afford! And if your his usul BUM opponent. U get $500k. Don't believe me look it up!!

Dude, someone asked when was the last time Canelo was rocked, that was the last time which is why I said YEARS BACK. Read a full post before responding like I am some GGG fanboy. My personal opinion is the fight is winnable for both men and I see it going to the cards.
