Comments Thread For: Schaefer To Canelo's Critics: Golovkin is no Superman!

As BoxingScene.com previously reported, Ringstar Sports CEO Richard Schaefer is backing Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo Alvarez (48-1-1, 34KOs) to defeat WBA/WBC/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) next September.

We found that out with Brook, but does Canelo have the kryptonite?

I can see a possible decision win for Canelo (fishy even), but if I was betting I'd put my money on GGG. Maybe by a UD I think Canelo can hang to a decision. I at least give him that

I'd be pulling for Gennady over Canelo if it ever materializes, but do y'all really think that Canelo is gonna get KO'd? I mean sure, we are talking about one of the most prolific knockout artists in the modern era, so it certainly wouldn't be a shock, but...Canelo is a f**king beast too, man. And when is the last time Canelo has even been legitimately hurt or staggered? Let alone knocked down or out?

Bet GGG fans were loving him when he said golden boy was protecting Canelo (which as a Canelo fan I'm willing to admit is true, but let's stop acting as if GGG's commie promoters are jumping at ANY and EVERY chance to fight Alvarez... there is an 8 figure deal out there that GGG's representatives didn't take right?). GGG fans are the new PAC/Floyd fans...unreasonable babies who can't take the slightest form of critiscm against their god. Canelo is the biggest threat to Golovokin, but GGG is a bigger threat to Canelo. Think 60/40 GGG. Those are all facts.

I'd have to say Cotto's brother is the only person to rock Canelo and that was years back. I have to say I am in full agreement with you. Great post.
