If haymon has a chance at landing broner in a big PPv fight, he is going to take it..

so, Manny Pacquiao is not a big PPV fight ?

    then, who is ?

Pacquiao is Broner's biggest fight by MILES, and only Cotto would be close in numbers and realistic in weight.

So..... the extremely popular Broner turned down 4mil to fight the absolute superstar Pacquiao, and that was ******.....

..... and yet, the relatively unknown Golovkin turned down 10mil to fight the burgeoning superstar Canelo, and that wasn't ******?

      really ?

Fk me, I guess I will need a big-word-please explanation for that one

Why is Broner a fool? Bob gave Rios $4 million to be a punching bag after losing to Alvarado, Broner probably can't beat PAC either, but he has a better following than Rios.

Then Broner should have looked at Haymon for that money

yea, it sounded to me like Haymon was up for it, but Broner wanted more money

of course, I would need absolute confirmation of that from Haymon or Broner before I believe it..... but that could be true, sure

Broner is way more popular than Rios/Algieri, 4mil seems a little low?

Also, on the other thread..... weren't you running around looking for a precedent regarding opponents/potential opponents of superstars who took a flat fee?

And, what happened to Arum insisting a flat fee is unfair ?

..... either way, not sure how you can justify saying that the extremely popular Broner is a fool for turning down 4mil to fight the absolute superstar Pacquiao..... and yet the relatively unknown Golovkin is not a fool for turning down 10mil to fight the burgeoning superstar Canelo.

you guys couldn't lie straight in bed

Do you know if Broner has spoken about this negotiation?

I would like to see what he said.

Arum confirmed that haymon was down for the fight..

Broner would have got a split,, the 4 million was just his guarantee

If Broner had known that the fight wasn't going to happen for at least another year, and he had all that time to negotiate, and if he'd been holding world titles which he knew Manny was after, then turning down Arum's $4million ofer would probably have been the right decision.
