We don't know what Jacobs was offered. All we know is the WBA purse Split Rules of 75/25 for Super vs Regular Champ. Maybe he was offered 30-35 and wanted 40 minimum? We do not know what Jacobs was offered.Comment

Shane Mosley, against Pacquiao.
1) the fact than an offer may be unprecedented, does not prove that it is unfair
2) want proof? if GBP offered lil'G 50mil, Tom Loeffler would deem that offer to be "fair"..... so your premise above is flawed logic
2) if Golovkin/Jacobs cannot generate 10mil TOGETHER, then why should Canelo pay Golovkin 10mil?
2) We do not know what Jacobs was offered. And before you say 25% that is the WBA purse split rules not what was offered. Also Jacobs is not Canelo or Golovkin in terms of popularity.Comment

Percentage negotiations. Meaning fighter gets a percentage of the total revenue after all network and site fees are paid. In these cases, the fighter pays his promoter out of his purse. Which is why Mayweather bragged heavily after MayPac. His guaranteed purse went all to him....no promoter to pay.Comment

Canelo COULD have offered GGG $10million to fight him next, at 160lbs, when he was the WBC champ and GGG was his mando, but he CHOSE to give Golovkin his belt and run away instead.Comment
