Some people say how come Golovkin is not taking short money? Didn't he say he's not a businessman?
GGG won't take short money exactly because he's not a businessman.
He won't be disrespected and he's ready to pass on big money not to lose face.
Will be interesting how this unfolds. I get the feeling that if Canelo/Oscar do not pull their act together they might end up being the B-side, or lose before they get to Golovkin. Golovkin can fight more often than Canelo, and there is less chance of Golovkin losing before he gets to Canelo than vice versa.

1. Correct
2. But gbp isn't offering 50 million flat fee, so that's a worthless statement on your part
3. Ggg/jacobs has no bearing.... Canelo can't break 350k with lara, angulo, kirkland,,, so using your logic, why would canelo get 20 mil for ggg..
Fanboys so desperate to protect canelo...
Just offer 65/35 to ggg and get the fight made ....
I don't care how much money GGG, or Canelo, makes.
I just know that 10mil is good money, and I suspect that you are arguing that it aint great money..... which could be correct..... but that does not change the fact that Golovkin COULD have taken that fight, if he wanted to..... but he CHOSE not to.
your reply will likely be, why should he?
my response will center around Golovkin's age, resume, broken promises, yadda yadda
let's not do that
all I am saying is..... stop blaming Canelo, because Golovkin COULD have taken that fight..... and you can see the hard line that he is taking with Jacobs

More than 1 mil per round. Does GGG deserve more? Yes, but they want this fight and are the obvious b-side. Take the money and go out there KO him and make yourself the A-side from here on out.
a LOT of posters have made that same comment

at least you acknowledge that GGG could simply take the fight

is 10mil a lot of money..... ?
I think that is a perspective issue
it is good/very good money for your first REAL breakout fight
it is poor money for a cash-out
either way, it aint great money..... no question
but not convince at all that Golovkin deserves great money
what I am sure is, he could have taken that good/very good money if he wanted
