That's a good point, but the reason UFC is creaming boxing is that they give their fans fights they're interested in and not just "contenders" on a regular basis.

Boxing's the most inconsistent sport in the world. How the hell did they let Wilder-Szpilka be the highlight of the heavyweight division this year?

We got no Fury, no Klitch, Ortiz, Joshua, and Parker not fighting anybody notable.

I mean, we're all gonna be old when we get Canelo/GGG

If it wasn't for Ward/Kov, I'd lose my marbles.

Boxing would be dope if they put contenders on free TV regularly to whet our whistle, then gave us big fights monthly or at least bi-monthly, but they can't even do that.

I jumped the gun a bit. The Showtime line up is pretty solid for early next year.

However, this has been a LONG time coming, too. You're right. UFC isn't making fans wait on getting solid match-ups. I say this, as a boxing fan. I'd love to see the sport turn around. January should be a good month, though, as will November. The high aspirations for December have been whittled down but there are a few good fights then. 2016 could have been a much, much better year though.

Stopped reading there. I wouldn't know I don't watch that crap I'm not into watching 'fighting' for the sake of enjoying random violence....I appreciate this art form above any other combat sport...see no WWE wrester will ever come into this sport and become lineal champion...even Holly Holm a former world boxing champion became 'THE' womens champion at the highest level in that sport. I dont care if all of their best gather for one mega PPV in one night...I have zero interest. I like F1 racing but that doesn't mean Im going to watch Nascar.

Get out! you guys are not boxing fans. You cry because fights are not signed or fighters are 'ducking' or that the best do not fight the best...now it has be another Gatti vs. Ward....sometimes I wonder why do all watch boxing?

Respect da two weight lineal champion. Thurman the #1-2 welterweight in the world is next, Swift is going to unify and be crowned King of 147...then its all PPV from there.
