If I was Tom Loeffler

Kudos on that new thread, moron. How come you never respond in your native language? Maybe you wouldn't struggle so hard to make a bit of sense that way. Surely there's some boxing forums in Turkish?Comment

My timeline isn't off. I get you are doing this just to defend GGG because you are a fan. I will wait for the TS response.Comment

Yeah, hindsight is a wonderful thing!come on. Canelo wasn't going to fight GGG then so there was no reason not to take the Ward fight.
You will kill Canelo for ducking and being scared to fight GGG. when the topic is GGG refusing to fight Ward, you act as if there was a possibility Canelo was going to suddenly change and fight GGG to justify the decision of Team GGG not to fight Ward.
Seriously, why do you do stuff like this?
When Loeffler got that offer from Roc the Cotto/Canelo fight hadn't even happened yet and both fighters had signed an agreement with the WBC pledging to fight GGG next if they won it.
Loeffler had also been told by Andy Lee that he would unify against GGG in his next fight if he beat BJS.
Balanced against those promises, he had an offer from Ward asking him to sign right then for a move up to 168, in a years time, for 50% of an unknown purse.Comment

That was the real motivation for those comments he made.Golovkin's biggest mistake with Canelo was that he chased him too long. Once Canelo vacated, Team Golovkin never should've talked about Canelo again. Eventually Canelo will have to come to Golovkin, that's his biggest fight. Golovkin's team still talking about Canelo makes them seem needy, and that's a sign of weakness.
The WBO president has always been a corrupt mo-fo. He has no problem bending rules and showing favoritism for fighters like Pacquaio and I'm sure he will with Alvarez. He'd love nothing more than if Alvarez held a WBO title and none of the other titles.
Canelo now has the WBO SWW belt and GBP are currently talking to Frank Warren about matching Canelo with BJS, in another WBO title fight.
This is all so transparent and so damned corrupt. Only in the sport of boxing would the president of a major governing body even dream of pulling a stunt like that.Comment

Did you believe either was going to fight GGG next? WHat percentage was that belief?Yeah, hindsight is a wonderful thing!

I ask because while "a possibility" is factual, It just seems that you act as if the possibility was strong to defend GGG when (in your posts) you didn't feel Canelo or Cotto would actually follow through with that pledge.Comment

The WBO just mandated this morning at their convention that BJS has to make back to back mandatories. I'm guessing Alvarez will be one of those mandatories, though now it looks like Canelo might be fighting Cotto in a rematch first. That was the real motivation for those comments he made.

Otherwise, BJS might have to face Khurtsidze and Langford?Comment
