According to who? According to DeLa Hoya he's offered some PPV upside to Golovkin so basically we don't know.

LOL. Golovkin and his fans are hilarious. Dude is a big waste of talent. I dont wanna hear any more **** about people ducking him. I honestly dont even care at this point. This guy has no motivation to achieve anything. It's all about the paydays to him.

Agree. The only reason GBP offered a flat fee is because they knew team Golovkin wouldn't take it. And why should they? The potential purse for this fantasy fight will be huge. I think they're both champions with equal draw so Golovkin should be treated accordingly.

Golovkin and his team needs to offer Jacobs the same split they expect from Canelo and Golden Boy to get credibility. They also need to stop whining and muzzle Abel Sanchez who is embarrassing them with his strange and contradicting utterings.

"Potential" millions don't pay the bills.

But, but, but GGG is "not business man."

              April 20, 2016:

“I understand this decision is maybe 20% Canelo’s and 80% [his promoter], Golden Boy. It’s business, but it’s not respectful of boxing. Everyone says Canelo is a great champion, the idol of Mexico. The idol for what? For boxing? No. Or as a businessman? Right now, he looks like a businessman,” Golovkin explained to the Los Angeles Times.

"Fighting Amir Khan, then maybe [welterweight Manny] Pacquiao … hey, listen, Canelo, I have double the championship belts [at middleweight],” Golovkin said. “Make the fight with me. It’s a good fight for us. Not an easy fight. Everyone understands that. But then next … you can bring on Manny or Floyd [Mayweather]. For me, it’s about who’s the best? Who’s No. 1 in the division? That’s what’s No. 1 to me. Second is money.”

IBO/WBA/IBF midleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) is placing a target on the back of WBC champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) and

Who looks like "businessman" now? Sign the ****ing contract you ****ing hypocrite!

This is hilarious. Loeffler article just a bit ago saying they're willing to negotiate, and are in fact negotiating. Then this one saying it's a no go because of money. Like I've said before... typical of GGG's people. None of them are on the same page.

And BTW, you GGG heddz who keep bringing up that same tired line '10 mil is an insult'... you need to please be quiet. Or are you so gullible you don't realize that's just the first bargaining chip they've sent out? Please, try to keep up.

GGG needs to learn, his place is the B-side. He certainly doesn't put half the rear-ends in seats that Canelo will. 10 mil flat fee + 30-35% is more than enough for him. And if he doesn't accept that, he is definitely ducking. Dump or get off the throne son!

Unfortunately, what he thinks he's worth is entirely different to what the market will bear
By that logic Golovkin is only worth what he made in his last fight which is far less than the 10 million flat fee.
