$10M flat fee LOL anyone in business knows if you hold any worth, you don't accept the first offer. Its called negotiations for a reason. GBP knows what they were doing with their low ball offer. Hell ask anyone in the entertainment business, getting points on the back end is much better than a flat fee.

If title belts don't mean shit, then why do you think Canelo kept hold of the WBC belt after beating Cotto, and promised to fight GGG next if he was allowed to keep hold of it again for a voluntary defence against Khan?

Trying to keep hold of that belt without defending it against his mando is the reason why Canelo is a disgraced fighter now and has lost so many of his Mexican fans.

        900k PPV buys against Cotto.

500K against Khan, who was a terrible opponent.

250k against Smith, on Mexican Independance Day.

Do the math. Canelo needs to fight GGG. He obviously doesn't want to, but he needs to.

Omfg just accept the damn ****ing offer!!

Just when things couldn't get any lower for team Golovkin!

Golovkin is not the superstar of boxing or even close to the face of it!

Almost every top fighter who wasn't the A side knew their place......except Golovkin! No More threads about the Can Crushing King being measured to the greats and hall of gamers!

He won't get in and his legacy will be tarnished even if he fights and beats Canela!

What we do know is that GGG isn't going to make 10 mil anywhere else.

Fight could end up surpassing expectations but that is a reasonable trade off. GBP are expected to risk their rising star on an event that could fail to break 1 million. They understandably expect a high reward to make the gamble worthwhile.

GGG should focus on the fact that 10 mil would be his biggest purse and the position victory would put him in.

In all honesty and being fair with both men, Canelo deserves 65% Golovkin 35% the same I said Golovkin deserves 65% and Jacobs 35%.

Flat fee offer is bull**** but if GBP doesn't concede into K2 demands, then the only way the fight will happen is, Golovkin takes those 10 million, wins the fight and then now he's the A-side and he will dictate terms from now on.

                    It is what it is.

Golvkin quote from this article "I do not know if the fight with Canelo is possible, one of the problems is the money, what they offer is a problem"

Golovkin quote from months ago "I fight anywhere, anytime, now, I'm ready, big drama show, I'm not a businessman"

Contradictions, well.................it is what it is.
