Normally a fighters workrate starts to diminish at 31'ish tbh depending on the fighter

prince Naseem Hamed knew he was past prime at the ripe old age of 28 which is a shame but also the truth

Abraham never had a great workrate but man you could tell he wasnt throwing nearly as much when he got to the fight with Taylor and all fights past that to date

Pacquiao you could tell was past it when he fought bradley in their second fight

perhaps something was taken out of abraham when he broke his jaw much like ricky burns hasnt bee the same since his.... so many factors can make a fighter not prime

I suppose you believe wladmimir wasnt past it when fury dethroned him aswell

Also please answer when you consider mike tysons prime

Golovkin is not heavier than the Super MWs. Canelo is a MW, period, he is not a super welterweight.
Ok. I see. Golovkin is the only fighter who's too big for the weight class below him and too small for the weight class above him...

Wow....hopefully everyone just meets him at 160...wouldn't want him to be uncomfortable

Just think Golovkin would love him and him just shelling up and GGG looping his shots around his guard.

Abraham never really looked elite to me though to be honest.

There is nothing for me to think about before I answer the question. They were all good fighters I have seen fight a few times. They are bigger and better than anyone GGG has fought. They punch harder than anyone GGG fought except Lemieux and Stevens. GGG would beat them by UD except for Froch, who GGG would KO. Froch likes to slug it out and he is fairly easy to hit. Taylor almost KOed Froch and GGG is much better and a much harder puncher than Taylor. I don't think Abraham has ever been knocked down so he might go the distance with GGG and lose on points by a wide margin.GGG is too good for the rugged and skillful Kessler who is a more careful fighter than Froch and might go the distance. That's my opinion on how these fights go but everybody is just guessing the outcome of such fantasy fights.

come on man please dont start telling me abraham lost to froch ward, dirrell cause he was shot and that he was actually some amazing fighter. He wasnt throwing shots cause he had world class fighters countering him and moving so they werent there to be hit. Abrahams not had any problem throwing punches since when he fights fighters who arent much good lol, why do you think that is? WLad was near on 40 when he fought fury ffs, abraham was 30 when he started losing! WHy is it whenever a fighter loses its always cause they werent in their prime lol. Never can be cause they werent actually that good in the first place, its always cause they were not in their prime, or weight issues, usually one of the two.

I doubt it. Kessler and Taylor weren't able to finish Froch. I doubt GGG would considering you all keep saying he's smaller than everyone....

I never mentioned that.. the whole prime thing was brought up not because I even think Abraham would have a shot with GGG(which i dont) it was the fact you said he was dog **** because he was beaten by murray but got the nod as if it defined his whole career

different fighters have primes at different stages,Mike Tyson,Prince Naseem,Cassius clay to name a few all had their primes in early to mid 20's and looked like **** in their 30's(naz never even made 30's)

and you tell me that Abraham was in his prime at 31 after many punishing fights and tought training camps with probable injuries ect just because Golovkin is still going strong at his age

you asked me to name who Abraham beat when i never even said he could contend with GGG but you should name who GGG beat to make you think he would obliterate Froch and Kessler

I'd think they match up well in styles & may be he would just about edge Froch/Kessler but definitely would do a number on Abraham.. Ward/Calazaghe on the other hand would be his stylistic nightmares & he might as well lose against them..

Did GGG ever pose as a champion at 168? Did he refuse to fight his mandatory there and then run back to 160 with his tail between the legs? Here - your wait is over.

Ok fair enoug about murray, arthur MAY have been past his best a bit at that point but i certainly disagree regarding his earlier losses. Tbh I think naseem is the perfect example, he lost cause he fought a hall of famer marco antonio barrera who was better than him, i dont think he lost cause he was 'past prime'
