This is very disappointing news. I was so looking forward to seeing this fight at the end of the year. While it may be true that Jacobs no doubt wants the fight; However, his handlers appear they do not.

Well at least to me, it appears that they are attempting to cash Danny out by using the WBA purse split as a face saving move to avoid the fight. If we are lucky at all, perhaps they can get this fight finalized around the Spring of next year and give us boxing fans the fight we all want to see.

Hey dummy, follow the facts:
- team GGG made an offer
- team Jacobs rejected it and asked WBA to increase the split up to 40% if it goes to a purse bid
- team GGG reached out to DJ for several days to work on the deal with no response. Literally Haymon and Co didn't pick up the phone.
- Due to silence from team Jacobs, GGG team requested a purse bid as they were losing precious time
- WBA took a time off to think on both teams' requests and lost both teams time valuable for adequate promotion
- WBA ruled the split remains at 25% and postponed the purse bid date for two weeks
- Due to WBA ruling team GGG tried to reach out to team Jacobs again, and it seems the calls are now being returned.

Conclusion: it's all business and leverage being pulled on both sides. But one guy in GGG is using his leverage to push for the fight, and the other guy in Jacobs is using his leverage (Haymon's support and ability to mess with WBA) to stall the fight.
