Lemieux is a draw in Canada, Jacobs is not a draw in America.

If DiBella takes Golovkin-Jacobs to Barclays Center, after the work that has already been done to develop the attraction of Brooklyn-born Daniel Jacob in his home venue, to act as if the fight won't end up moving a ton of tickets (possibly selling out the venue without needing ticket gimmicks) is silly.

Still, that doesn't counter the point that Golden Boy got the fight at one price, and Lemieux was able to be paid well more than what the bid said he was supposed to get.

If Haymon wins the bid, Jacobs can get his extra pay on the event's upside.

Golden Boy Promotions got the N'Dam-Lemieux fight for just over $100k, and Lemieux ended up being paid $1m for the fight

Beterbiev is fighting at a casino in Ottawa on Dec.23. GYM likes to put their fighters on shows in Montreal or Quebec City, mostly. Two great markets, Montreal has no MLB,NBA,NFL, just NHL and MLS and Quebec City has only Junior A hockey so the shows do not have much competition for other live sporting event dollars.

GGG sold out MSG in a foreign country. Jacobs couldn't even sell out HALF his hometown venue Barclays against the other best Haymon middleweight, Quillin, in a Brooklyn showdown.

Jacobs is lucky to get 25%. He deserves 10%, GGG deserves 90%, if you go by the numbers. GGG's last fight also got about 4x the ratings on HBO as Jacobs got on Showtime. I repeat, Jacobs is lucky to get 25%.
