This is so sad. It sounds to me, that Daniel Jacobs was just coming for a paycheck to lay down and not compete to win.

Sooo...it's your opinion that the fight will make only 5M. Trip and Lemieux had what almost 4M in purses and Lemieux is a nobody. This is a premium fight that can make 10M-12M, with 8 million in purses. Barclay's and premium priced seating gets it done. Heck the networks will foot the bill for most of the purses.

Well when Golovkin was 23 Pirog was only 24 and seeing that Golovkin was by far the better and more accomplished amatuer time I would put my money on Golovkin winning.

By Jacobs pricing himself out, it just goes to show that he was never serious about challenging him in the first place. It seems that his personal insecurities and lack of self-confidence is what preventing this fight from happening.
