    GGG -Jacobs must happen

This isn't even a mega fight. This is the type of fight Don King would've mad in a second and put it on regular HBO.

If the WBA doesn't raise the purse split Jacobs still must take this fight. He's known the purse split is 75/25 since he's been paying his sanctioning fees. If the fight is on HBO & at MSG he must take the fight.

If the WBA raises the purse split GGG must take the fight. Yea it'll suck for him but this won't be the first time the WBA has done it so they're not setting precedent here. If the fight is on Showtime & at Barclays he must take the fight.

These are the top two middleweights and both guys need this win on their resume. Can we all agree that no matter what happens both guys need to agree to this fight?

I agree. I can't see a better matchup for both right now.

Yes, this is an important fight that needs to happen. I have no problem with the 60-40 split if that's what it takes.

Jacobs disagrees with the first sentence. He feels it's a "super mega fight"

Agreed. These two bum destroyers need each other for legitimacy.

I agree with everything but GGG fighting on showtime. He's got a contract with HBO, Jacobs shouldn't have any issues with fighting on HBO as he's not exclusive to showtime.

Agreed.. Just make the fight already.. I don't think the network was an issue in this negotiation just the purse I recon..

Agree, GGG needs a big win this year but Jacobs is getting an opportunity to win 3 belts, then possibly unify and fight Canelo. If GGG walks away it will seriously damage his standing but if Jacobs walks away he would have no future at middleweight.

This is the one problem I have with this fight is it's not a mega fight. Yet with the kind of money both guys seem to want I imagine it'll end up being on PPV. Good fight? Yes. PPV fight? No.

Anybody know what the offer was? I don't see what the big deal is. Jacobs got 1.5 against Quillin so just give him 2 million and GGG can keep his 3 million. Its not hard. Just pay them and get it on!
