WBA is doing right thing especially not letting both camps know if going change the split or not to force a deal, that takes loeffler leverage away not knowing if his guy would have the 75-25 split now hopefully BOTH sides can get this done in good faithComment

Belts may be irrelevant to you but for a fighter who dreams of being a champion since the first time they put gloves on, belts are a big deal and they bring fighters more money. I think there are way too many but I understand why they still mean the world to a fighter.Comment

I've already said 67/33 would be ideal for GGG but I'd rather see him give up 7% and fight Jacobs than another Monroe or Wade. Just make the ****** fight. At the end of the day no one is paying me and I don't care what they make as long as it gets signed. Hell Jacobs could get 10 million and GGG could get 6 chickens and a trip to Disney World. I don't give a damn just make it happen.
It works both ways. The fact you guys keep saying GGG needs to give guys way more than they're worth to fight him is a subconscious admission that you know all these fighters are DUCKING him, and that GGG should bend over backwards trying to get them to stop ducking. Wouldn't it be simpler to just blame the people ducking him, instead of arguing over whether GGG does enough to accommodate duckers? They are duckers. They will always find a way to duck.Comment

You're so dumb lol. They offered both an interim fight. GGG's side denied it. Jacobs didn't. If Jacobs side also denied it, the article would say "both sides denied it." It's clear Jacobs wanted an interim fight, and GGG's side had to push back against the Haymon-Mendoza tagteam trying to help Jacobs duck the fight.
Exactly. You. Let me ask why did GGG's side have to be so vehement in their denial if Jacobs side denied the interim fight too? If both sides denied it then it would just be a casual "nah neither of us want that. Thanks for asking." For GGG's side to have to be vehement in their denial means Jacobs side was all for it, and GGG's side had to push back strongly and say I don't care what Jacobs side wants, it's time for this fight.
Like I said, if both sides denied the offer, the article would have said both sides. It only said GGG's side denied it. I'd say do the math but maybe that's asking too much, so I did the math for you. Jacobs and GGG haters got exposed, end of story.Comment

Jacobs got 500k for Mora
so you are making the case for GGG to get a 90-10 split?
(I'll wait while you think of a way to move the goalposts)Last edited by OnePunch; 10-07-2016, 02:55 PM.Comment

tbh 60-40 isnt bad, when ggg fought other top mws the purses have been in that percentage split. only monroe and wade took lesser % but they are nobodies at MWComment
