Why did you reply to me? My whole post was working off the assumption the WBA changes the split to 60-40. Yet you're talking about 75-25. What's your point?

For this fight to happen the current bid will have to be at LEAST $10,000,000. And GGG will get $7.5 while Jacobs gets $2.5. if it's less than that??? The split has to be better. Jacobs isn't a Dominic Wade needing cab money just to show up to press conferences

They should have just sent the fight to purse bid, October 22nd would leave very little time for the fight to take place in early December.

My bad! I was agreeing with you that the split was BS for such a LOW amount of $$$ anyone will pay for it

Why should the WBA change its rules to accommodate Jacobs?? He has done nothing to get an exemption from the rules. This is a normal champion vs super champion fight---not a mega fight like MayPac.

IF the WBA allows for its rules to be disregarded for no reason, then any fighter in a mandatory position will request exemptions to the rules in their favour--- imagine how chaotic that will be

GGG is by far the bigger draw and rightly deserves 75%, especially if its in the rules that the super champion gets 75% in the event of a purse bid. Jacobs knows that and its in his best interest to get a deal done before the purse bid, otherwise he won't be able to ***** and cry about the 25% since that will be all his and his team's fault for not reaching a deal.
