... Danny Garcia has been in the gym, in camp, for at least the last month; Saw an interview with him less than a week ago, and he already looks fit.

If the date is already set for mid-November, the boxing public may not know, but the 2-3 guys being considered for the fight date likely already know and are in camp (if not in full-blown camp, they're likely working to get into some kind of shape before the hard 6 week or 8 week camp commences).

I used to defend Danny but no more.

They probably going to dig up some corpse to showcase him to the masses one more time.

I will eat my words if they pick a worthy opponent but with a Khan fight or another big fight looming they are more than likely to play it safe

The Danny camp was asking Hearn for one of his euro bums if he was available.

That should give you the gauge of the type of opponent that they are going to select next

It would be like you taking some girl to the mall to buy her a nice outfit for her to wear on a date with someone else next week........
Showtime/CBS and SpikeTV are all under the same umbrella; Sumner Redstone's National Amusements has controlling stakes in both CBS Corp and Viacom. You add in the talk of a coming CBS Corp/Viacom merger (apparently all ending up under the CBS Corp banner), and your point looks even more silly.

lol its funny that garcia khan 2 is considered a big fight even thogh both guys haven't done a thing at 147 and their popularity has gone down a ton.

Technically, you're off a bit; Viacom (which has SpikeTV) and CBS Corp (which has CBS/Showtime) are actually two separate companies, though both companies are owned by the same private corporation (National Amusements).

It'd be like going to Safeway to buy your produce, going to Lucky's to buy your meats, and Albertson's to buy everything else you buy, not realizing that you're still getting all of your products from one company (Albertson's Companies Inc, which owns the three mentioned grocery chains and another 15 ones).

Will come down to what the money looks like and what other options become available, tbh. Danny Garcia is going home to a 12k-seat arena, in a fight that will likely sellout by pushing the Philly/PA attractions.

I doubt that you can headline a card with Charlo-Williams, so you've got to look for a coming stage that compares to/surpasses the stage of fighting under Danny Garcia, in a packed venue.

Unless Lou DiBella win the bid for Golovkin-Jacobs and stages the fight at Barclays Center, I can't fathom a bigger stage manifesting this year, so why not?

Again, there is no right or wrong answer here. This is just our opinions. Unless of course you are secretly on the board of Ds at Viacom and are not telling us.......lol
Opportunity cost of putting the fight on CBS versus putting the fight on SpikeTV; if we acknowledge the fact that Garcia's next fight is to build momentum for the coming unification fight with Keith Thurman, they can do a lot worse than place a so-so fight (without an opponent being announced yet, the event is likely being positioned as "come see Danny Garcia fight") on a channel with a dedicated series of bringing combat sports to a largely combat sport-friendly audience.

In a perfect world, Danny Garcia has his fight on Spike in November (Thurman gets at least a guest spot on commentary), Keith Thurman handles his mandatory defense in December (Garcia gets at least a guest spot on commentary) and PBC packages all of it, to build the type of promo package that they can then take to Showtime/CBS to launch the arc for the mega-fight (on CBS or Showtime/SHOPPV).
