Word on the Curb is that Kermit Cintron was offered the DSG fight for Nov 12th in Philly, but the offer was too low. Rejected. #boxing

Lol I read his post and was like, is this fool serious right now? Talk about massaging Haymon's nuts. Lellook, its one thing to be a true believer and be "all-in" on the Haymon bandwagon as you are, but are you REALLY trying to infer that Garcia-Salka 2 (yes, its just a metaphor) is supposed to be some historically significant event?? Thats where your going with this???? lolComment

it's not a question of being historically significant, it's a question of spike bringing legitimate world championship boxing to basic cable on a regular basis, something the sport hasn't had in many years.look, its one thing to be a true believer and be "all-in" on the Haymon bandwagon as you are, but are you REALLY trying to infer that Garcia-Salka 2 (yes, its just a metaphor) is supposed to be some historically significant event?? not everybody can afford HBO and showtime. many can't even afford digital cable. access to being able to view elite (or premier lol) boxing champions is expanding. there's no denying that the marquee value of these spike cards is a big step up from the basic cable cards that were taking place before PBC.
danny garcia won the WBC world welterweight championship live on FOX and will be defending live on spike. MILLIONS are watching boxing now that weren't watching before.
how is that a bad thing?Comment
