It's like Disney during the season and the playoffs-most of the programming is ESPN/ESPN2 then the finals are on ABC or NBC showing hockey during the season on NBCSports but the finals on NBC.

Come on dude, cost factor (production and advertising) and the fact that Friday slot has been booked on CBS for months. Viacom does something similar the last few years with NCAA hoops-early rounds are on TBS, TRU Tv and TNT.
