he just split 50-50 with brook and would have done the same with eubank jr. he made 2 mill to lemiuexs 1.5. check the purses for geale, macklin, and some others. very close to even. seems more than fair to me.

we are talking about getting this fight made yet you are only focusing on what ggg can do to get it made...you never blame jacobs for demanding more money than he is worth. he's simply not worth the 3 to 5 million that he wants since he's not popular. k2 can only overpay guys so much. eventually the money is not there. jacobs would still make a great purse if he accepts the fight but maybe he waits and gets lucky with a better deal down the road. prob not since no one cares about him but hey at least he doest get ktfo.

uh yes it is since he's more popular than those guys. if he was floyd he would have offered them a sh-t flat offer and when they turned him down fought a bum and scooped up all the money. he's done that a couple times but for the most part he's actually trying to fight these guys and being extremely generous.

You just want to blame Haymon but this is the same issue that came up in the Saunders fight which doesn't involve Haymon. He hasn't even won the purse bid yet so blaming him is premature.

GGG fights generate enough to pay his low level opponents $100k or whatever paltry purse they make. His fans come out in part because tickets are relatively inexpensive.

When he fights real opponents that command a higher purse there isn't enough unless prices are raised significantly.

K2 can simply raise ticket prices to try and cover everything but they surely are concerned GGG's fanbase may not come out if ticket prices are more expensive.

The fight also is best held on the East Coast, where things are more expensive.
