really? once again where does this money come from? where does your math come from? canelo just made 3.5 mill against khan and 3 mill against liam smith. is a jacobs fight that much bigger than those? prob not. so what's 25 percent of that? around a million or so. so you are saying jacobs would fight canelo for a million...and yet he won't fight ggg unless its for 3 to 5 million. oh wait that proves my point completely! good job buddy lmao. if ggg offered jacobs a million he wouldn't fight!

Difference is they'll get more because it will be in PPV. Canelo easily cleared over $10million. I think Khan got like $7.5 Even Smith made more than $3 mil I believe. Jacobs would accept $2-3 and make the same in ppv sales PLUS it's a QUALITY fight.

And NO Jacobs isn't worth more than $3-5 million. What's wrong with a 60/40 split??? Pay GGG $3 million and Jacobs $2. Win/Win! Good fight against a respectable opponent. And the fight will EASILY make way more than $5 million for K2.

who said losing money was cool? the reality is this fight, much like Kov/Ward, is a fight fans fight and not a big event. If you price it for fight fans, you will likely lose money. That doesn't mean you will lose as much as Haymon has on certain fights.

Daggum and other GGG fans tend to get mad at fighters that try and get the best deal they can for a GGG fight just like GGG is doing with Canelo.

GGG does draw huge TV ratings. When he forayed into PPV it wasn't very successful. I took from that casual fans will tune in when it doesn't cost them anything but were not so keen on paying to watch him.

I just hope the fight gets made. I am not interested in another Jacobs/Mora or GGG/Monroe level fight.

You're beating your head against the wall. Don't you know that the burden of sacrifice is ALWAYS on GGG no matter what? He MUST accept a flat fee vs Flopnelo or its a duck. He MUST find a way to pay Jacobs north of $3 million or its a duck. He MUST tie up his schedule for a year and meet Ward at Ward's requested weight or its a duck.

No other fighters are expected to make concessions to get a fight made, only GGG.

Once you understand that premise, you can converse better with most on this board......

Pay the $1.5 and give the FANS a REAL fight!!!
