his opponent was caught doping and the fight was canceled.

he holds the most prestigious and lucrative belt in the history of boxing. he won it fair and square and was willing to defend in russia against povetkin. it's not his fault povetkin is a cheater.

in 2015-2016, he beat two guys currently ranked in the TBRB top 10. no other heavyweight in the world can say that.
    yep..............

He won his piece of the title by beating Stiverne, who boxrec ranks 16th in the world in January 2015. He has defended it 4 times against Molina ranked 14th, Duhaupas 13th, Szpika 20th and Arreola, ranked 44th. I used boxrec because only boxrec ranks low enough down to get all his opponents. If the WBC threatens to strip him of the title he will fight who they say he must fight to keep his title. As long as Wilder is free to fight whoever he wants I think he will continue to cherry pick guys he is sure he can beat and leave the more dangerous guys like Ortiz and Joshua alone.
Wilder beat him and that's the reason he's not in the top 10....

Wilder has shown he's willing to take on anyone...

Too bad that lousy Russian Povetkin got caught cheating. You'd be calling him a bum too.

Hopefully GGG steps up in 2017

He's got 4 years on Wilder

He is literally doing the same **** GGG is doing which is Ok in yall's book. He is staying busy and fighting a buncha bums. A fight finally showed up vs Povetkin but we know what happened.

So, when is GGG gonna fight a legit MW?

He fought Stiverne and tried to fight Povetkin who got caught cheating. However, his next opponent will probably be a soft touch considering his injury and expected layoff.

stivernes a basic plodder, whos signature win is beating burger king arreola. Forgive me for not thinking he is much of an opponent. Why cant wilder ever fight one of haye, wlad, parker, joshua, fury, ortiz, pulev, povetkin? One of them must have been available at some point?
