if wilder's competition is so lousy, why is he the only heavyweight on the planet with two recent wins over top 10 guys?

    explain that please.

Yea at this moment. His skill set seems to be better but who has he really beat? And I'm not sure if he'll ever get the chance to prove it especially after leaving Golden Boy and Fury losing his titles and he pulled out of the fight that would've landed him the winner of Fury/Wlad and now Fury is about to be stripped and Wlad will be facing Joshua. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong for him. None of the top heavies are going to voluntarily fight him and without the backing of Golden Boy he doesn't have a promoter that could get him a big fight. It's essentially over for Ortiz at this point. His career is done.

I think his skill set is there but I think his career is done. Fury is young and he'll be back within the next year once he gets everything straightened out. Oritz is 37 (?) and his best shot at a fight was the WBA and he dropped out of that fight. Like I said. Ortiz is to dangerous and high risk/low reward for any of the top fighters to fight him. And now without the backing of Golden Boy he won't be able to get a big fight with any of the top 5. They aren't going to voluntarily fight him. He was set up for in the perfect position and blew it. He should've been fighting in front of 50,000 people on the Canelo undercard.

Don't be switching words around now. There's only a handful of "special" fighters. You said LEGIT and Stiverne was a legit opponent. Idk why you trying to rag on Wilder anyway. He is literally doing the same **** GGG is doing which is Ok in yall's book. He is staying busy and fighting a buncha bums. A fight finally showed up vs Povetkin but we know what happened.

So, when is GGG gonna fight a legit MW?

If you mean will he fight one of the 7 or 8 best heavyweights in the world I vote no he probably won't do that based on his past choice of opponents. He won his piece of the title by beating Stiverne, who boxrec ranks 16th in the world in January 2015. He has defended it 4 times against Molina ranked 14th, Duhaupas 13th, Szpika 20th and Arreola, ranked 44th. I used boxrec because only boxrec ranks low enough down to get all his opponents. If the WBC threatens to strip him of the title he will fight who they say he must fight to keep his title. As long as Wilder is free to fight whoever he wants I think he will continue to cherry pick guys he is sure he can beat and leave the more dangerous guys like Ortiz and Joshua alone.
