As the title suggests, will wilder fight someone worth fighting in 2017? Or are we looking at more opponents like chris arreola, johann duhuapus, jason gavern next year?
is 2017 the year wilder fights someone legitimate?

You're just trying to big-up GGG.
Wilder has been fighting legitimate opponents or at least trying.... -
wilder worked his way up to the #1 ranking and then defeated the champion in dominating fashion.
he stayed very active and faced various contenders from the WBC rankings. when the time came to make his mandatory defense, rather than vacate his title, he agreed to travel to enemy territory to defend in russia.
his opponent was caught doping and the fight was canceled.
he holds the most prestigious and lucrative belt in the history of boxing. he won it fair and square and was willing to defend in russia against povetkin. it's not his fault povetkin is a cheater.
in 2015-2016, he beat two guys currently ranked in the TBRB top 10. no other heavyweight in the world can say that.Comment

Who do you consider legitimate? The HW division has Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Wlad, Parker. Those are the top 5 heavyweights. From 6-30 it's basically a wash. Just look at how high Duahaupus and Molina are now ranked. If Wilder were to fight them now he'd be fighting a the #13 & #14 ranked heavyweights.Comment

by flying back home 5 seconds after hearing povetkin might have tested positive? forcing the wbc to cancel the fight before they even made a ruling? hmmm yea he was trying soooo hard!Comment

I take it you were in camp Wilder to know this type of inside info? Or let me guess, you got it from Sherdog as well?
It seems to me like the only fighters that can do right are the ones you like but any other fighter is somehow always doing something wrong.
