Now we all know that say Hopkins,the last outstanding middleweight didn't do that until an advanced age and after he lost his titles to Taylor and couldn't beat him in a rematch.So I guess we will have to wait until the end of Golovkins career to compare.But you get my point.Watch Hopkins against Simon Brown ,Delayhoya against Gatti or Gamanche,Nunn vs Curry and Starling ect.Some guys on here are getting on his back more than a bit premature don't you think?

The media asks Ward about Golovkin, just like they asked Kovalev. They answer because they want to sell their own fight. No one is insecure about Golovkin. Like many, the folks you call haters just want to see this exciting fighter in a fight with better competition not the welterweight and C level competition he has beaten so far. Pacman is exciting and he took on bigger and highly ranked and skilled guys. When will Trip be able to say the same thing?

Trust you? Lol! Is that the best you got? And why fight Degale or Ramirez? Not big money fights nor do they help the legacy he is trying to build. This is what happens when you have to assume something weak like CAN'T make 168. Then you have to attach other weak scenarios and hypotheticals to make the assumption seem legit.

Are you serious? Both Ramirez and, especially, Degale would be much bigger fights financially than Kovalev.

And no weak ass scenarios, hypotheticals, or assumptions are necessary to reach the conclusion that Ward can't make 168 any more. He hasn't made that weight in 3 years and both he and his trainer have stated that he can't do it any more.

But yeah, if GGG had signed a contract last year agreeing to fight Ward around about now, then GGG's signature on a peice of paper would have had some mysterious and miraculous effect on Andre's body ... blah blah ...
