The fight if made at 168 would have been an easy boxing match for Ward. Fans will not like it because of his style but Golovkin would lose. Triple G is a monster, no one can deny that but he is beatable. Ward would have gotten tagged pretty good but he takes a good shot. No need to cry over it, Ward has left to face another challenge in Kovalev and has rightfully given up on the Triple G fight.

The guy who is not a businessman just fought a business fight and is chasing another against Alvarez. I don't blame Trip, I blame his team. When you market a guy as a KO monster, the public expects KO's. Everyone knows that the better your competitors, the less likely it is to get a KO. Thus the lack of effort in making legacy fights over money fights.
