I'm a GGG fan but nobody wants to see Floyd fight GGG. It won't be a fight, just an ugly, watered down super fight. Floyd-GGG sounds good but we all know it won't look good

I don't think the record is tied to singular belts. It's whether you have a belt. So the first defenses that counted were with the WBA, then a bunch with multiple belts, then the Brook fight was with the WBC, but not the WBA. It's still a "title defense" as long as you have a title on the line.
