that seems to always be your go-to response when your brain comes up empty. (which is rather frequent)
Just remember, YOU are the dunce who thinks Flopnelo-Andrade would do 900,000 buys. (thats what it would take for the GingerFlop to pay Andrade $5 million and keep $40-50 million for himself)
like I said, math obviously isnt your strong suit.Comment

The live gate did well, and who really expected this fight to sell a big PPV number? Under 300k is about where it should have landed, similar to the Angulo/Lara fights, although those two were much more known in the states than Beefy.
Plus it was reported almost 20 million views in Mexico. Seems the Mexican fanbase hasn't abandoned him so much after all.
Put Canelo against Brook in the UK its sells much more, put GGG in cowboy stadium against Beefy and it bombs like his only other PPV fight.Comment

Mayweather made a mint off that same model. Can't help but line Canelos pockets when people want to see him lose.. We all need a hero and villain to root forComment

You are right. 97K for the first PPV event. 200K for the umpteenth PPV event.
Canelo is no star. Large fan base - yes, but no star.
GGG was right declining 90:10 split (AKA double digit offer). Since their PPV numbers are 2:1, they should split purse 65:35. That is the reality about star power.Comment

Have Pacquiao fight Crawford, Thurman, & Broner.. PPV is back where it belongs.
What's important is a competitive opponent/big name.
Smith wasn't competitive or big. Same with Vargas.Comment
