Fury camp don't want the rematch and are doing whatever they can to avoid it. They want Wlad to move on so they can too.

None of that is new info. Slapdash Dan should have mentioned that UKAD suspended Fury's licence in June to try and prevent the rematch with Wlad happening. But when the Fury's appealed to the courts a judge examined the evidence and ordered that the suspension be lifted and Fury allowed to fight Wlad again before his case went to the tribunal. Call me naive, but I think there must have been a reason for that.
fury is going to have his boxing license stripped on the 4th of november.
i don't think he's ever going to fight again.Comment

If Fury is diagnosed with a mental illness he may never fight again.
But I will be truly astonished if he is not cleared of the PED allegation in Nov. To me, that whole fucking business stinks to high heaven.Comment

Hughie was scheduled to fight against Ruiz, and it wasn't he who pulled out of the fight. Tyson is just a physical and psychological mess. I just want the division to move on from this match-up already. It was BORING the first time, zero desire to sit through that bull**** again. Boxing could make better use of its resources, and hopefully it will.Comment

I'm a big Fury fan but I agree with those who argue for him to be demoted to Champion Emeritus. We really don't know where his head is at right now and if even half the rumours are true I don't expect we'll be seeing him in the ring any time soon. I certainly don't expect to see him in the ring this year. Let others fight for the right to be crowned champ including Wlad, who at this stage in his career doesn't have time to mess about.
Shame, and if Fury is genuinely ill then I wish him the best in his recovery. Mental illness can be absolutely devastating for everyone involved.Comment

Tyson Fury has mental health issues. He has depression. Having watched him now for some time IMO he has been trying to deal with his illness and is unable. His behavior has shown that he is out of control. The first time I noticed it was when he had that press conference for the second fight and started saying so what if he lost, that nothing mattered anyway. I used to work with this population and he looked very depressed.
I feel very sad for him. I don't blame him. The pressure and routine of being top dog is tough for anyone, it is especially so for someone with depression. I wish him the best but really have to question whether he can fight at the level he needs to with his illness.
I fear for him frankly and hope we do not hear about a suicide attempt.Comment
