Because he wants all the belts.....Wilder has already openly admitted to wanting Wlad to get older before he fights him, that was like 2 years ago. Wlad knocks Wilder out he has a major mental advantage over him as well,he knocked wilder down in sparring years back,he knows he is more polished.. Not trying to get his belts back would defeat the purpous of fighting period, otherwise he wouldn't be fighting still. he will be looking for all belt holders,Joshua is the main challenge no one else.

If Wlad wants to continue his boxing career he needs to move on. At this point, waiting for Tyson Fury is like waiting for David Haye - it's just too unpredictable and not reliable to waste another training camp.

It would be nice if Wlad took a 'tune-up' fight rather than be sidelined again.
