Canelo did LESS than 300k. Meaning its, maybe 210, maybe 250, maybe 290k, its not 300k.
Maybe you should go to school and educate yourself before making a fool out of you for not being able to read an article.
To be honest that would of been the only reason I would of went!

And STILL, the Canelo phagettron nation is still making excuses for this coward! Canelo needs GGG, accept it. You want to see it but don't want to see your idol destroyed. GBP are fools if they think GGG should take a flat rate. Welcome back to earth ladies!

If you're gonna do ppv an expect to draw huge numbers, the combatants must have large fan bases. The ppv would even draw more numbers if people thought the fight would be competitive. FMJ did his highest numbers against guys that people thought were a lock to beat him. Manny did his highest numbers against guys that people thought would produce a competitive fight. Trying to get huge numbers based on one person's star power alone won't work. In fact I.can think of only one fighter to do above average numbers for a fight against an unknown and that was Mike Tyson in his first fight after getting out of prison.

With no stadiums available in the UK during the football season, GGG/Brook was staged in the 17,000 seat 02 Arena. And tickets sold out in less than 10 minutes.
Comparing PPV sales ... Canelo/Smith - 250/300k from 126.4 US households.
GGG/Brook - 500k from 27 million UK households. The HBO PPV's cost 3x more than the Sky PPV's doe.
I don't have figures for the worldwide audiences. But I would think GGG/Brook >> Canelo/Smith worldwide.
