A fake discredited number that came from Rick Glaser or whatever his name is. Stop being so gullible. And this is promoter speak to protect Canelo. "Not expected to break 300k" means it maybe broke 200k. So GGG did 150k, Canelo did 200k maybe 250k, meaning the split should be 60-40 like I've said all along.

How much was Canelo Smith gate? + (65*300k) 20000000/

          How much was GGG gate? + (22*500k) 10000000 (50%) of Canelo's number.

When we have those numbers together that may represent a fair split of revenue. May be K2 is thinking that this fight will generate more than 40 mil?

I don't know, may be K2 is hoping for 65/35 or something more real 70/30%

I'm a GGG fan from when he was amateur (I'm from Russia) - he was kind of a legend over here (even with that Gidarbekov loss. He was competing very well (silver medal) with much bigger guys.

I do think that Oscar has every reason to affraid that his cash caw is likely to face another loss and it might be more damaging than Mayweather loss.

I think that 70/30 is OK split.

          Thanks
          Ted

Your math is bad. Double translates to 66/33, plus Canelo being a disgraced challenger and Ggg bringing 3 belts, and 60/40 is no longer so outlandish.

Exactly! Look at how jmm has learned English in such a short time. He comes out on ESPN in English now. Canelo the typical prideful ignorant Mexican

What I don't get is that GGG did 150 according to the same source that claims Canelo just did 300 but they take the 300 for canelo and revert to 97k for GGG. So why is it that they don't take the 150

This is how far boxing has fallen...

A decade ago 2nd tier stars like floyd, barrera, morales were pulling better numbers..

Floyd vs baldomir drew over 300k in PPv buys...

Canelo,,, the "biggest star" in boxing can't break 300k...

Barrera vs Robbie pedan drew as much as canelo...

                  Boxing is dead,,,

So is that the only source? Lance Pugmire or whatever his name is?

                    Has anyone else reported numbers?

300k for fighting Liam Smith is not bad.

Pacquiao's recent PPVs have not drawn too much more than that.
