$64.95 x 300,000 is still just under 20M. if half of that goes to HBO. 10M is left. 2M goes to Smith. 8M left for GBP and Canelo. I think they'll stick to fighting bums on PPV until the fans completely stop buying these BS fights.

We'll see in his next fight how much his star power has faded from the Golovkin saga, it is still a bit too early to tell, though if trends continue he won't be in as strong of a negotiating position.
        That's the truth!

C-ntello fishnet fans better make up their mind it's either

              1. C-ntnello FLOPPED REAL HARD AND IS B - SIDE, comparing to GGG PPV numbers.
              2. C-ntello the Fishnet Putana fought a no-body smith and always fights no-bodies and his past PPV shows got big numbers because of FMV and Cotto fans.

              You pick.

Red headed putana better realize he is a B-side and better go sign that contract with his Daddy GGG and get that royal @ss whoppin', after all GGG did cleaned up the division anyways.

Unfortunately, I agree with this. The economics on a 300k buy fight makes sense. I thought it would be worse.... Well I really hoped.

Btw, just a note it's not hbo that gets half it's the cable providers. Hbo gets a much smaller piece normally with a cap.

Coming from a man who called for a boycott of this fight, I'M HAPPY! Now to all the GGG fans, please understand that the gate and PPV is still double anything that GGG has done...EVER! Double would still translate to 75/25 split! Would GGG fans be satisfied if Oscar offered GGG a 75/25 split?

only two other fighters can fight some random bum nobody knows and sell 300k and that's floyd and pac. golovkin couldn't even do 100k vs a name guy in the biggest fight of his life. that's why he got demoted back to regular hbo. then he turns around and pulls a 0.8 on hbo. little g will NEVER have the upper hard or even equal hand with canelo in negotiations. canelo can just stay at 154 and fight brook and do 600k on ppv. then wait for guys like danny garcia and errol spence to move up and do another million. little g has no options besides canelo and that's the bottom line. they better accept that 10 mil and be grateful.
