Still a dangerous fight for Wilder IMO unless Haye lays another egg like he did vs Kitschko.

Povetkin-Stiverne still hasn't been announced, so who knows when that fight actually happens.

You add that the timeline for again mandating the fight isn't all that clear (since Povetkin came up sketchy, is there another free negotiation period before heading to bids and then having the time required to stage the fight, etc), and I sincerely doubt that Povetkin or Stiverne end up fighting twice before April.

If Wilder-Haye does end up happening in April, Joshua-Fury (I think age has finally gotten to Klitschko) is the big summer 2017 UK fight and Wilder likely ends up fighting the winner of that fight come Christmas 2017 (likely on PPV)

Hard to believe Wilder will ready for action that soon. Rehabilitating a torn bicep and broken hand is no easy task.

That is pretty much when Wilder wants to return, and I don't see the WBC turning that fight away they will just mandate the winner fights the winner of Povetkin-Stiverne.

I think it works out really well for all parties.

Purse bids take place end of the month, fight will happen by the end of the year. Then the winner will fight Wilder for the title early next year. No Haye fight in April.

Wilder has a year to fight that guy, and those guys are not known for quick turnarounds like that anyway.

Wilder will likely get that because that is a pretty big money fight, when has the WBC not accommodated something that would make them money?

Absolutely, I'd like him to get rid of Parker too

From years ago and Deontay has improved since but even in recent fights he still leaves enough gaps for Haye's right hand to catch him.
