That's insane. No fight since May v Oac has been more talked about.

This fight will be seen all over the world.

My dad hasn't watched but one fight since Leonard v Hagler, at that was the May 2015 stinker.

He asked me last Saturday who wins out of GGG v Canelo. He was talking about it with his old marine customer base at his shop.

This fight will do over 1m ppv, bring 100k to Texas, and do more all over the old.

1.5 million Mexicans watched GGG fight, 1.4m on HBO, and mire around world.

    Canelo has a huge base.

To think this doesn't beat the Cotto fight is insane.

I care little, but I know better than to think either of these camps are showing their true wish.

Golovkin’s endorsements with Apple Watch and Jordan Brand only reinforce this assessment. *Boxing Superstar and Unified Middleweight World Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin’s, (36-0, 33KO’s), fifth round stoppage of previously undefeated UK Superstar, “The Special One” Kell Brook, (36-1, 25KO’s) was viewed by a combined 1,436,000 viewers on HBO World Championship Boxing this past Saturday, September 10, marking it as the most watched HBO boxing event in 2016 and the highest rated HBO international boxing telecast in many years viewed live by 843,000 fans and same-day rebroadcast by 593,000 viewers. Canelo is barely the A-side.

The thrilling victory by Golovkin was also viewed live on TV Azteca by 1,560,000 viewers in Mexico on Saturday afternoon. Golovkin’s fights are broadcast in over 100 countries which all reported strong viewership numbers for this event.

Golovkin’s 23rd straight knockout and his 17th world title defense took place at The O2 in London, England in front over a capacity crowd of over 19,000 fight fans as he retained his WBC, WBA, IBF and IBO Middleweight World Titles.
GGG is still clearly the B Side 😂😂😂

Why you trying to make it difficult ggg has no draw at all. Did 97k with chocolatito on the card!!!! That is lame. Ggg is ku I like him as a fighter he a beast but his team are idiots lol.
        Are you for real?

What is it with you clowns?

Why should he take the flat fee?

A flat fee from one of the biggest grossing fight of all time?

        A year out?

I don't think so. Come back down to earth.

Sure, Canelo deserves more. But he can have it out of an overall percentage.

I think a 70-30 split is fair to both sides. Hopefully the negotiations will go well and we can see this MW showdown next year. Neither fighter will make as much fighting other fighters.

Flat fee is a joke. Floyd was in the same situation as GGG when Floyd fought Oscar and he got a percentage. It should be 65-35 Canelo or 60/40 at most. Canelo is easily the A side. This isn't Floyd PAC where it was 1a and 1b. Loeffer is going to cost us the damn fight if he doesn't acknowledge they are b side

These Hatersvwho think GGG isn't worth 70/30 are morons

Canelo us the biggest ppv star by default, but he is no Floyd.

Neither fighter can get as big of a payday fighting anyone else.

But only Canelo ducked GGG, handed over his belt, and now can't fight and win without no one caring and wanting to know when he is gonna back up his words.

As far as k2 is concerned, they can't count on Canelo taking the fight. But they sure the heck ain't getting shortchanged.

You Golovkin ball lickers are too much.
                Are you serious right now?

If you honestly think Canelo will save face turning done a heavy split in his favor you need to start paying attention.

Most people don't give a damn about this forum and GGG haters.

Canelo is losing the PR war, big time.

They long ago acknowledge it. Read the article.

They offered 60/40, and will probably take 70/30. That is what will happen. Or Canelo will duck. It's that simple.

Casuals don't give a damn about splits a ppv numbers.

I think he's confused hop with mosley. Mosley was trying to negotiate hard with Oscars and ended up taking a flat fee offer

I don't mind Canelo getting more. But you can't say he should just take whatever. No. It has to be fair. They're fighting for GG's belts, and neither guy can make as much fighting anyone else. A flat fee a year out his BS.
