    A flat fee is BS.

    There is nothing wrong with a percentage split in Canelo's favour, as long as it's fair.

    You idiots kill me.

    This will be one of the highest grossing fights of all time.
    Of all time?

        This people are NOT handling GGG career quite well. If it is indeed $10M that is on offer then take it, KO Canelo and then a rematch and PPV split would be the only way forward. No one seems to want to take a risk these days expect the boxers, Why can't managers, promoters, networks take a calculated risk? But they all expect boxers to take the short end of the money, prove themselves then that would lead to bigger money fights..

This isn't Floyd PAC where it was 1a and 1b. Loeffer is going to cost us the damn fight if he doesn't acknowledge they are b side
            Floyd had 1 million in PPVs by the time he fought Oscar. In what world is that the same as GGG and his 97k?

                Floyd, Cotto, Pac, pretty much every big PPV fighter at one time or another. Heck MOST even fought in someone else terms...Like weight, etc.This $10 million isn't even a CW.

                  Lol people saying he should accept whatever. It's called negotiations. Golden buy will have went in with an offer expecting counter offers. That's how business works. Golden boy would think they were dealing with amateurs if they didn't come back trying to negotiate.

                  You can tell a lot of people on here have very little life and business experience.

                    Cotto / Alvarez grossed 58 Million from 900K buys. GGG / Cancelo is not doing more than 500K. 3G's Enlish is terrible & Canelo isn't speaking English. A good 24/7 would be needed.

                    Interesting article on Paystrcture below;

                    Alhough the Mexican superstar's handlers are keeping tonight's payday a little closer to the vest, it's safe to assume that Canelo Alvarez will earn his now customary $3.5 million pre-fight guarantee, not including proceeds from Mexican TV and PPV incentives. And while it's a mystery as to how much the current WBO Champion will receive for his efforts this evening, it's projected to be a seemingly meager sum in comparison to the now expected multi-million dollar purse of Team Alvarez.

                    In his last PPV appearance, Canelo was guaranteed a healthy purse of $3.5 million to face British attraction and former Olympian Amir Khan earlier this year in May, while his opponent was given a cool $2 million purse for his efforts. Keep in mind, the contractual guarantees don't include any of the PPV incentive generated from the respective U.S. or U.K. markets.

                    In November of 2015, Alvarez was guaranteed a surprising purse $5 million to compete for Miguel Cotto's WBC and Ring Magazine Middleweight titles. Compared to Miguel's whopping $15 million guarantee, Canelo's payday seemed a bit low. But with favorable numbers from Mexican TV, Alvarez eventually received a 45% share of the entire purse generated from the successful pairing.

                    A week after Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, on May 9th, 2015, the popular Mexican fighter earned another $3.5 million purse to take on fan-friendly, pressure fighter James Kirkland in front of 30K fans at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. Although the bout wasn't staged for a version of any title belt or championship endeavor, the Mandingo Warrior received a healthy $1.3 million for three rounds of work. - See more at: http://www.fightsaga.com/news/item/6....nkxe5917.dpuf

                      GGG is A-side so he should get 75-25 in his favour, Canelo has 2 losses on his record that draw was basically a loss.
