The only advantage Jacobs has is speed. Golovkin has better power, the better chin, and the better skills. Yeah, Jacobs might land a stopping punch, but the odds of that happening are so much slimmer than Golovkin doing the same.
Is Jacobs a "challenge" for Golovkin?

I have to say that Jacobs is a good challenge for GGG, he knocked out everyone in the last couple years and seems to be very strong, he is also taller and bigger than GGG, also longer reach.
I think Jacobs knows his chin isnt the best and thats why i hope that Jacobs goes all out and tries to knock out GGG first, so this fight will probably be the shootout GGG has wanted for so long. It could be a war for 4-5 rounds.Comment

It's quite simple; people just regurgitate what they see and can't think for themselves. Guys don't have a mind of their own on here; just repeat what other people type. No sense of critical thinking.
I was watching a youtube video the other day. This guy was commenting on the GGG vs Jacobs fight. Never even saw the Jacobs vs Pirog fight as he admitted too, but when he gave his breakdown of GGG vs Jacobs, for some reason he referred to the Pirog fight, WTF?Comment

Definitely a challenge but I don't see Jacobs winning. But I can't criticize this fight at all. Good match up for Golovkin.Comment

I feel the same way. Jacobs has power and good overall boxing ability but GGG will definitely take him seriously. He will prepare 100% for the fight and I just don't think that Jacobs will be able to land much of anything on him. Jacobs maybe lands a few body shots or a jab or tow but GGG will be peppering him with power piston jabs.I think it is a challenge, even though I would expect Golovkin to stop Jacobs in the first half of the fight. I know that is a contradiction, but I think Jacobs is dangerous...yet maybe not durable enough to deal with Golovkin's power. It is definitely a fight worth having. More importantly, its exciting.
GGG controls almost every round and KO's Jacobs by the 6th rd.Comment

...and there's the question of ggg being durable enough to deal with jocabs power. Normally, i wouldn't question ggg's durability...but he seems to be eating a lot of flush punches lately. I expect he'd be a little more defensively responsible with jacobs tho.I think it is a challenge, even though I would expect Golovkin to stop Jacobs in the first half of the fight.
