Jacobs is very dangerous and I'm not sure at all but I think Canelo wins by KO. I think Jacobs hits harder but they both hit very hard with both hands. Canelo has a very good chin. I have seen all of Canelo's fights and only Cotto's brother ever really hurt him. That was about 7 years ago when Canelo was a teenage welterweight. Jacobs was dropped by Mora and KOed by Pirog. Canelo's stronger chin might help him be the one who gets the KO win if these two highly skilled, fast handed punchers went to war. Jacobs is a great finisher and he could easily win by KO. I see it as a very close fight that could go either way with the edge going to Canelo.
Danny Jacobs vs canelo, who wins and how?

Nope. Stevens can ****.Jacobs has been dropped twice in 33 fights; one was a legit knockdown 6 years ago and the other was a flash knockdown where he went on to knock the other guy down a total of 7 times and stop him twice and these guys just won't let it go.
GGG hasn't been down yet, but he he's fought 1 real puncher at 160 in Pepe La Pew in a fight that was won by GGG's jab.
Thank God Mayweather was never officially knocked down hurt or these guys would talk about it for the next 200 years. Forget if Floyd won the fight, they'd ping soley on the knockdown.
Also, apparently you don't need to be a puncher to knock guys down. See Mora vs Jacobs. So yeah, bad excuse.Comment

Stevens had a 60% KO percentage when he fought GGG. Got his ass whooped by Jesse Brinkley and some other journeyman I've never even heard of. But to play Devil's advocate, if you think Stevens can ****, imagine what Jacobs can do.
Mathysse was stopped by a guy with a 40% KO pecentage.
Brook was dropped by a guy with a 30% KO percentage.
Tim Bradley was saved by the bell from Jesse "Hard punching" Vargas. Tim's been down at least 8 times or so in his career.
Wlad has been KO'd by God knows who.
Prime Roy Jones Jr was dropped by a bum. I think Lou Del Velle.
What's your point?Comment

This lame still claiming the KD on Jacobs was a flash knockdown but Jacobs had his legs bent under him, sat there pointing at Mora for no reason (to buy time) and had trouble getting up.

Please stop spewing out bs and learn something before you speak. Even Joe Tessitore said that Jacobs was wobbly.

A flash knowdown doe!

Keep getting exposed, p*ssy.

The only reason they're picking Canelo is because they know if they say Jacob then they admit that GGG vs. Canelo isn't as competitive a fight as they want people to believe. Canelo dimensions are all wrong for middleweight. He's only a middlweight in weight, not height, not reach, not punching power. He's skilled but not so skilled that it overcomes the size and power of a Jacobs or GGG.Canelo admits to not even being a full fledged MW and somehow people think he can get with Danny?
Danny is a huge MW that can not only crack, but can box. We're not talking about slow ass Angulo here or reckless James Kirkland.
People don't realize this, but Canelo was losing to Amir Khan. Jacobs has pretty damn fast combo's similar to Khan when he has his opponent hurt.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; taking punches from Amir Khan at 155 and Leon Smith at 154 is nothing like taking punches from Danny at 160.
I can't think of one fighter Canelo has fought as tall as Jacobs. Not one.
Canelo does horrible against guys that move. Canelo looked like schit against Mayweather, Lara, Trout, Khan (before the KO) and even Cotto. Cotto's not a real mover, but one can argue that Cotto outpointed Canelo.
Jacobs will provide movement, but the difference is when Jacobs lands, we're not talking about Amir Khan, Lara, Cotto or Leon Smith hitting him. We're talking about a full fledged Middleweight.
If Canelo was confident he could take punches from MW's he would've moved up a loooooong time ago. Obviously Canelo knows something you guys don'tComment

Bingo to all of this; especially the bold. He's skilled but not so skilled that it overcomes the size and power of a Jacobs or GGG.
I see this a lot around here; especially concerning GGG.
If GGG beats Quillin in 88 seconds, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Hell, GGG beating Dominic Wade in 2 rounds was huge in some people's book. But if Jacobs beats Quillin in 88 seconds, it's because Quillin sucks and was going to get KO'd by Rosado.
If GGG beats scary ass Saunders in 4 rounds we need to automatically elect GGG to the Hall of Fame. If Jacobs beats Saunders in 3 rounds, BJS ****** anyway. So on and so forth.
Canelo has elected to stay at 154 for so long because he knows as well as everyone else, that he doesn't have the height, reach, power or style for the elite guys at 160.
Curtis Stevens who has Canelo's style/build came down from 168 and even then is too small vs the elite at 160.
Canelo would get walked down by the elite at 160 and he knows it. 5'7 Canelo vs 6"0 Danny Jacobs. Give me a break.Comment

They're in different weight classes but I'll say Canelo because of Daniel Jacobs's Amir Khan-esque glass chin.Comment

Serious question: Daniel Jacobs vs Amir Khan, Alfredo Angulo, Miguel Cotto or Leon Smith at 160. Who wins?
I think Quillin ices Canelo at 160 while you're bullschittinComment

I was thinking a near even fight. Maybe 60/40 Jacobs. Due to size and power with somewhat compatible skill. But somehow it became an unrealistic landslide for canelo. I'm guessing star power now translates to real time in ring outcomes.Comment
