^This is correct. He took away the guy's speed and mobility by going to the body early. Before the fight, I said Khan would win the first few rounds while Canelo set his trap (which he always does). It was a calculated plan that he was able to execute fairly early in the fight. To say he was losing, as if he saved himself with a random or lucky punch, is wildly inaccurate. Khan was getting weary of the body shots and was even expecting one when Canelo took his head off. That's gameplanning.

Sure they could. It's all how you choose to score rounds.

Do you score for the busier fighter landing more punches or do you score for the fighter landing the one single hard shot for the round?

Let me ask you, if Fighter A landed 25 "1" 2"s as oppose to Fighter B who landed one thunderous punch for the round, who do you give the round too? It's very subjective.

Canelo knows if he moves to 160 he has to fight GGG. It was madatory. That's what he knew.
Canelo has said countless times for the past few years that his body isn't ready for 160. Stop.

        Who is 'Leon Smith' lol.
        I meant Liam Neeson

After realizing he couldn't box with Brook, I think Golovkin took more of a caveman approach, knowing that Brook would wilt under the pressure. Which is exactly what happened.

Rigo gets dropped every few fights too. Still one of the best, if not THE best P4P. Kovalev is one of the top P4P supposedly was KOd in the AMs and dropped by non-puncher Blake Capperello. It happens. Are you questioning either of their durability or is that only when you co-sign a fighter?
              Oh, you're not playing ******...you're actually ******.

Jacobs hasn't fought a puncher in his pro career, despite that he's been down 3 times, 2 of those being heavy knockdowns. So if he's been hurt and dropped by non-punchers, apply a bit of common sense and you'll realise what that means.

Rigo doesn't take a punch too well either, the difference is, his defence is arguably the best in the world, so he doesn't get hit flush often. And when he does go down, he gets back up. Plus he's never been stopped. Kovalev's KD against the Aussie wasn't a legit KD, I doubt you've even seen the fight otherwise you'd know that. But my strong su****ion is, Kovalev may not be too durable either, the only real puncher he's fought as a pro was Boone, who dropped him and gave him a tough fight in their first encounter.

Guys like Porter, Murray, Korobov, Estrada etc floored Jacobs in the amateurs, these guys are non-punchers, wearing bigger gloves than you do in the pros, with headgear. Most of these fights can be found on youtube, help yourself.

This guy is surely one of Khan's brethren....he's punch drunk by proxy.

He has shown "good" power but nothing suggests he's a "big puncher." And most of his big punches have been vs smaller guys. There's no telling what this so called "big power" is gonna be like at 160 vs guys his size or bigger.
