All loeffler had to do is say offer never happen but, what he did say was they contacted him which Oscar Gomez and Canelo all said happen and made a 8 figure offer with upside

When did they contact him and what was the deal? Props to them if they sent a good offer but its questionable.

GGG has had plenty of time to come out and deny this...if it wasn't true. Why haven't they? These fighters and promoters drop a tweet within 5 mons to deny less.

Could be true could be false, GB is pretty good at spinning things. Why is this the first we've heard of this offer?

The key sentence here is if "Canelo fight comes up that would trump any fight in boxing." Okay, lets fight in December 2016? What's the hold up? Why September 2017? Because a lot of things can change in a year. Who knows what will happen a year from now. This is nothing but a PR stunt from Canelo and GBP to save face. Lets get it on at 160 lb before the year end. Loeffler and K2 will make this fight in a heart beat. This time Canelo doesn't have anywhere to duck. No more belts to vacate.

We will just get the same thing we got in Ward/Krusher situation making sure they take fights that won't mess up fall plans which Canelo/ggg doing anyways.... so yea it's prettt much no excuse for loeffler and co not to take the 8 figures plus ppv upside plus 160 offer or at least contact them back with a counter offer they had over 30 days

From what Oscar and Gomez said they offer 10+mil plus ppv upside and 160 and they said they kept contacting team ggg quiet for respect for smith and his team loeffler confirmed he was contacted by Oscar

If an 8 figure offer is on the cards then Loeffler should be talking. After last night and the previous weekend I see this fight as 50/50 especially, and this is important, with Golovkin a year older.

I don't really care about who gets what but looking at it from a business point of view I'd say a 33/67 split in favor of Canelo would be fair. He is the one bringing the fans and high numbers.

I would revise that upwards slightly if Golovkin can unify with Saunders. Reason being is that if it would be a fight for unified MW and if Canelo was to win he'd go from being a hall of famer to absolute legend (at least in Mexico) - and Mayweather earning level from there on in. That's be a lot to bring to the table from Golovkin's side.

With this Canelo/GBP PR stunt, the question now becomes why doesn't GGG accept to fight Canelo. Very smart move on Canelo/GBP's part. The real question should be why is GGG accepting a fight that we don't know if it will even happen since it will be September 2017. Someone please go ask Canelo and GBP why offer fights when it's a year out. Who does that kind of stuff? Ward? Yep. Canelo/GBP taking a page from Ward/Roc Nation. Why not December 2016? Know all of sudden Canelo has this convenient hand injury? What's the injury? Lets see the X-ray. What's going on with the hand? Everyone is pressing for this fight. Lets make it a priority. Idk we would have heard of this offer earlier if it was legit. It sounds like an excuse in front of his fans.

Maybe it is true though idk.

Maybe he's trying not to negotiate in the media but Abel and co. talk so much ***** that Oscar had to put them on blast.
