Why Didn't Andre Ward Accept 164, 50/50 when he was the b-side?

I know GGG said 154-168 several years ago just like Ward said he would drop down to 154 for Mayweather. So that is a wash right there.

But at the time, that was a more than fair offer. #1 160 vs #1 168. Meet in the middle. And 50/50 when GGG had higher ratings.

The whole 18 month period Ward was inactive, he was talking like he was ready to fight. He even said that other fighters were using his promotional problems as an excuse to not fight him.
Ward got called out on HBO by Stevenson when he was in the building to commentate on the Dawson fight. Ward didn't say ****
HBO wanted to make GGG-Ward. Ward wanted to talk about his shoulder and his promotional problems instead.
Which one was it?
Ward was ready to fight and chose inactivity or he wasn't able to fight and was just talking ****? Either way he was trying to bull**** the public(it worked on the ******s). Ward really has nowhere to go here.

Let me re-iterate the point, GGG didn't ask for more money. He didn't ask for Ward to come down to his weight.


He asked for FAIR TERMS right in the middle. That is more than fair.

Probably because he couldn't make 168 let alone 164. Plus Ward thinks he is worth more based on his undefeated record. Ward was and is basically using GGG name to stay relevant.
What I find hilarious is that you have Ward fans (converted mayweather fans) sh itting on GGG for making brook go up two weight classes yet they want GGG to do the same to fight Ward. They want GGG to lose soooooo bad so they can say he was exposed and is a bum.
