Does GGG need PBC/Al Haymon for more exposure?

It would be nice for GGG and Jacobs to fight on NBC in the Barclays, GGG biggest fan base seems to be in NYC anyways.

Worry about PBC/Haymon fighters doe. They have yet to become PPV materials themselves.

You keep saying GGG is not exposed enough. Yet Jacobs needs to be paid $4 million doe.

As I look at the ppv numbers for broner, thurman, jacobs, quillen, mares, santa cruz, etc I say yea, Golovkin definitely needs that pbc magic

It may have been an issue before but it was never as bad as when al came into the picture.

Ali, leonard, tyson, de la hoya...and the majority of the faces of boxing before al faced almost everyone.

After al things have become pathetic. The face of boxing literally gives his belt up to avoid the guy that is not only his madatory, but his biggest money match. Quillin also drops his championship. Jacobs talks about how he needs ridiculous amounts of money to get in the ring with ggg.

Bjs says ggg beats him and eubank jr in the same night. Santa cruz buys out of his contract to avoid rigo. The pimp flees hbo to avoid Kovalev. Paul williams is avoided by the entire welterweight division. Chocolatito wants a million to rematch estrada. Andre dirrell fakes neurological issues to avoid ward. Danny garcia wont fight anyone of meaning because he loves his 0. He loves his 0 so much that he wouldnt fight floyd or pac, despite the payday that comes from fighting either of them.

          Theres a difference.

A name guy could flip all over the main boxing TV channels options right now & maximize his pay + increase his fanbase with new networks to increase his pay even more moving forward.
A Canelo, Cotto, Pac, GGG, some of the heavyweights and probably others could certainly do it. Would really like to eyeball a contract these guys have with a network lol. Maybe we are missing something, but on the surface it would seem these guys could pocket more money by not locking themselves into a paticular network. Like you said, a bit of a risk, but seems that it could really pay off for the fighter and in the bigger picture, I think it helps boxing as a whole.
