simple as that... do ya think he needs it? Especially after all the hyping up ya gggroupies where giving him. He sells arenas, he gets the most views, etc.

f^ck that all of a sudden he needs more exposure

just like his ppv numbers showed... he aint sh^t. that's why he only faced like 3 undefeated fighters his whole career. Everyone has to move to his beat, but then ggg makes no sacrifices.

The extended length of the bout stayed with the home audience, as the Feb. 21 late afternoon special edition of HBO World Championship Boxing generated 862,000 viewers. The event peaked at 938,000 home viewers, and—combined with its exclusive prime-time rebroadcast later that evening—was watched by 1.433 million homes.
Gennady Golovkin was extended into the 11th round of his eventual stoppage win over Martin Murray in their Feb. 21, the deepest he’s ever had to go in his pro career in order to secure a knockout. Every PBC Saturday afternoon broadcast last year did over a million views and Spence did 6 million this year.

They blamed his PPV numbers on May/Pac then Canelo/Cotto blew that theory out the water. Like Andre Ward told Tom Loeffler. Stop lying to the fans, man.

I don't think GGG or K2 needs PBC, but I also don't think GGG on national TV is hurting them. GGG or any HBO or Showtime guy on NBC, Fox, CBS or whatever national TV network like those is only going to benefit the fighter & whatever premium network they are aligned with in my eyes. Seems like a low risk, high reward move. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but it for sure isn't going to cause much damage if it doesn't work.
