My bone structure is fairly big (you can see it in my wrists, shoulders, ankles). I could still go down to 160 (if I loose some fat and muscle) and I would still be bigger than those guys, not heavier but bigger.

An orbital bone can be broken inside a ring, it has happen before. But..... In just two rounds? Man you have to admit that GGG must be ridiculously powerful to be able to do that in that short amount of time.

Kell looked more like a Calvin Klein model than a boxer. He did well though. At least better that I was expecting.
GGG no doubt has a bigger skeleton than Brook, which is why he couldn't fight at 147 without weakening himself badly. But Brook still weighed the same as Golovkin in the ring, and it was all "business weight" ... bone and lean muscle.

No 2 fighters ever have the same ratio of bone to muscle, that varies from individual to individual. But in the past, we've seen fighters move up 2 divisions and more without being too fragile to handle the difference. There is no reason at all to think that Kell moving up from WW is the reason his orbital bone got fractured by GGG.

Golovkin is a fearsome, heavy handed power puncher. If he hit them in the right spot (or the wrong spot) he can could fracture a MW's bones just as easily as Brook's.

Mathew Macklin was a big boned, legit MW, and GGG broke 2 of his ribs with one left hook to the body.

      September 25, 2012:

Bradley had hoped to fight a rematch with Manny Pacquiao, but Pacquiao instead opted for a fourth fight on Dec. 8 with Juan Manuel Marquez.

Top Rank did make an offer to Brook, although HBO had not fully signed off on having him as the opponent. Also, Top Rank's offer of about $500,000 was nothing spectacular.

Brook and promoter Eddie Hearn turned it down. Brook already has an Oct. 20 fight in his hometown of Sheffield, England scheduled against Hector Saldivia -- a fight Brook is a heavy favorite in...

But why not take a title shot against Bradley rather than fight an eliminator first?

"The Bradley fight was put in front of me, but I believe the mandatory position in the IBF is the right move," Brook said. "Eddie [Hearn] has worked hard to get me into this position and providing I beat Saldivia, I'll be fighting for a world title at the start of 2013, and it will be on my terms. I would love that to be in Sheffield, too, and I know Eddie would do his best to get it here as it would be an amazing event."

Said Hearn, "Top Rank contacted me in August and made us an offer for the Bradley fight. It was a nice ego boost for Kell to be offered a fight of such magnitude, but we begun this journey with a goal of becoming a mandatory challenger and now we are just one win away."

Nice spin from Hearn, since Brook could have had the title shot immediately. But I get it. Brook gets to stay at home -- rather than come to the United States to face Bradley -- and faces Saldivia, which should be an easy win.

Hearn is who he is! Everytime some talks fail with Hearn, it's never his fault! Hopefully he does better for Brook @ 154!

Kell showed good movement and was dropping combos on ggg slow azz. GGG was just too strong and powerful for a WW. At 154, Kell dethrones Canelo.

It would have if Brook could have atleast lost by decision. But he was about to get KO'D, just as many expected. Your stock rises in a loss when you do way better than expected. So Brook had a good couple of rounds!?!?, I honestly thought that he was a good enough boxer to survive 12 rounds and loose! But that was not close enough, so I disagree.

I'm sorry but this excessive Brook positive PR spin that everyone is doing whether it's Bunce, Matchroom , writers on this site is a joke

If you need to continually tell the narrative that his stock hasn't dropped or that it was a coursgeous effort it should tell you that his performance wasn't really all that and nothing to be written positively about

Brook essentially got beat down for 4 1/2 rounds, Monroe, Rosado, Murray,Lemieux, Stevens all fighters that are no where near the level that Brook is supposedly at all lasted longer.

People need to cut the bullsh.it, It was a exciting fight But Brook didn't do anything special on Saturday he became another Gennady victim.
