This is normal, I've noticed, when there's a big underdog - which is the norm in GGG fights. You notice the moments of success by the underdog - not least because they tend to be highlighted by the commentators - more than you notice the consistent and expected success of the favourite. It is what it is.
wtf did some people watch

lmao discouraged golovkin?each round ggg got more and more aggressive. round 3-5, ggg was heading straight to brookgolovkin is full of **** and brook is full of ****. i believe golovkin felt every bit of brooks punches because every time brook started landing, it discouraged golovkin. & golovkins face was busted with a red bloody nose. brooks eye was busted so the power was real.
this is what i watched.......and this is what golovkins trainer watched. A guy completely out boxing golovkin in spots. golovkin tried to box brook but brook made golovkin miss in the center of the ring and countered him. ab at one point told told golovkin to forget your gameplan, forget outboxing him, impose what we have left! your size! put your size on him. he is not a middleweight. that in it's self is very telling. that means brook was talented enough to make team golovkin throw away all gameplan and make them go to their last resort "size" just started desperately throwing hay makers.
this is why people are calling golovkin overrated. a welterweight pushed golovkin like this.

I think GGG was surprised that Brook didn't run and went toe to toe. He was also a little embarassed. So he was like **** it, you want to brawl lets brawl.
He can be very technical when he's facing a big puncher. See the Lemieux fight.Comment

gamboa crawford was a different situation. gamboa had a better resume then brook prior to meeting crawford. also he fought Farenas at 130 & a undefeated perez at 135 before fighting crawford at 135. brook had never fought at 154 or 160. & i personally think p4p gamboa has more talent then brook. (which then u could understand why gamboa gave Crawford fits when u take all of this into account)love how everyone considers GGG to just instantly not be that good, wheres the credit for Brook, this is what happens when you put two tremendous fighters in with each other ragarless of weight for a few rounds at least,no wonder carl froch claimed nightmare when he sparred 3 rounds with brook i imagine brook frustrated froch and boxed his ears off
however the weight does take its toll along with GGGs knack for taking a punch, brook would give anybody fits, lets stop saying GGG was exposed and just give credit to brrok for putting up a sensational fight
Look at Gamboa crawford, despite weight differentials that was a touch and go fight but weight eventually came into it and reach
Brook earned my respect however i doubt he will be the same fighter again with such an injury, but i know in my head he could have beaten any ww and he would have smashed amir khan had they met prior to this fight
this is why people are seeing golovkin in another light. brook had 0 experience at 160.......Comment

exactly Brook had no experience with the kind of punches GGG was landing on him and still fired back and gave everything he had,Brook landed some vicious combinations after he got hurt in the first 3 rounds and i noticed a mean left hook he landed just after the mean uppercut he landed in round 2 i think... credit to ggg for taking that bomb flush... just give brook some credit please..GGG will go on to fight jacobs and whoever else at middleweight and never have several punches land on him before he returns fire like brook did... Brook was a special fighter, whether or not he will be the same after the eye injury remains to be seengamboa crawford was a different situation. gamboa had a better resume then brook prior to meeting crawford. also he fought Farenas at 130 & a undefeated perez at 135 before fighting crawford at 135. brook had never fought at 154 or 160. & i personally think p4p gamboa has more talent then brook. What I get is that Brook landed a few good shots through 5 rounds. GGG landed nearly every jab he threw, he cut off the ring easily on a faster more athletic guy and he broke his face...when did he lean on him or impose his "size"? I must have missed all that part of him wearing him out with how big he was...golovkin is full of **** and brook is full of ****. i believe golovkin felt every bit of brooks punches because every time brook started landing, it discouraged golovkin. & golovkins face was busted with a red bloody nose. brooks eye was busted so the power was real.
