    wtf did some people watch

Come on here and people saying, GGG exposed, limited, defense is **** etc, got wobbled (erm when?). GGG felt brooks shot and felt he didnt need to pay him any respect, so he did what a good fighter should do, which is throw big shots, walk him down and get that guy out of there early. Shows how desperate some of you are to slate him that as soon as brook lands a couple of combos (most of which hit that the gloves) it means he was 'exposed'. The fight was a demolition job basically lol, GGG just throwing haymakers to get him out of there.

It was a tough task for Brook. Had Brook tried to be cute and move too much and land single shots and get away, i think Golovkin would have been able to cut the ring off even easier and break him down anyway as Brook isn't a mover. If Brook wanted to win then I think his plan wasn't a bad to try and fight with Golovkin at times wasn't a bad plan, but by giving him the best shot at winning, he also put himself in danger of losing due to the weight class jump.

Brook went in that fight to win and not survive, but it was his undoing in the end. Still respect that though but Golovkin was way too much for him. Brook fought to his own strengths but it wasn't enough. It is what it is.

He was really feeling that pressure in the 5th. The end was coming anyway.

Brooks a freak athlete. What shocked me is how GGG went from speed 3-10000 from round 4-5. It was lie he was a different fighter....

golovkin is full of **** and brook is full of ****. i believe golovkin felt every bit of brooks punches because every time brook started landing, it discouraged golovkin. & golovkins face was busted with a red bloody nose. brooks eye was busted so the power was real.

this is what i watched.......and this is what golovkins trainer watched. A guy completely out boxing golovkin in spots. golovkin tried to box brook but brook made golovkin miss in the center of the ring and countered him. ab at one point told told golovkin to forget your gameplan, forget outboxing him, impose what we have left! your size! put your size on him. he is not a middleweight. that in it's self is very telling. that means brook was talented enough to make team golovkin throw away all gameplan and make them go to their last resort "size" just started desperately throwing hay makers.

this is why people are calling golovkin overrated. a welterweight pushed golovkin like this.

          get it now?

honestly, upon the rewatch it wasn't as close as i remembered. GGG more or less adjusted to brook's speed in round three and it was all downhill from there. his jab and footwork won the day yet again

you make brook sound like a bum, of course hes going to be hard to hit, hes still a world class fighter who is a little bit smaller. Saying that it was a beat down in my opinion, wobbled in first round, yeah came back well in the 2nd but then it was all downhill from there. Why did golovkin need to bother with defence, after he realised as soon as he tags clean its going to hurt him, and as soon as he realised brooks punches arent going to damage him. He put a bad enough beating on him for his trainer to pull him out in round 5, thats not a competitive fight to me, sorry.

yeah it wasnt close, crowd went absolutely crazy when brook landed a few combos in round 2, but even most of them hit the gloves. It was very one sided. And yeah, once GGG brought back his jab it was game over, couldnt miss with it.

Nah, not at all. People just want to believe that the monster is human, ok. GGG did not get punished AS ALL. GGG did all of the punishing and strolled through everything Brook threw

no, I make brook sound like a........welterweight. a welterweight that made golovkin go to his final gameplan of "size" if golovkin had to throw out his gameplan and rely strictly on desperate haymakers & size thats telling. ab knew by the 3rd round they weren't outboxing brook. golovkin just doesn't have the skills for that. so he screamed at him to to use size and go crazy. thats what happened and even ab said it between rounds.

it waters down the win because we already knew golovkin was a middleweight & if golovkin was as good as he's said to be there was no way he should have had to skip his entire plan & rely strictly on size and wild haymakers.

it truly makes brook look better.

someone said that golovkin is old and his abilities are fading. who knows. maybe it's true.
