  • Damn, Danny has no drawing power!! This guy's not worth $500k vs GGG.

    • This is a very intriguing match up. It's a battle of two punchers. If Danny comes to win, by taking the lead and becomes the hunter and not the hunted, then he can make this bout very interesting.

      • If Danny can only get 550k on free tv and only 386k on Showtime, what hope does this fight have for a ppv?

        If Haymon bids big (>$5mill), HBO would be fools not to let him take the fight.

          You already forgot all the lessons you got yesterday eh
          Interesting that you seem to think that not only did Chris Algieri fight for free, his opponent fought for free, and the other three fights that Showtime aired were also for free.

          $3m for the main event, a world title fight as the co-feature on Showtime Championship boxing, with Chris Algieri as the main event on SHOExtreme, and another two televised fights, all for only what was disclosed to be allocated for the main event? gtfoh.

          http://www.************.com/2015/12/...-quillin-1-5m/ {$3.3m disclosed as being paid out for the doubleheader on Showtime Championship Boxing}

          -can't seem to find the payout information for the other three fights that were aired (Algieri-Bone, Browne-Sierra, Rosinsky-SmithJr); the fact that Algieri was in the main event of SHOExtreme gives me a pretty good sense that the total disclosed payout to the fighters was a lot closer to $4m than you seem comfortable acknowledging.

          To hear all the **** talked about how little business the fight did at the live gate, or how the international TV likely didn't amount to much of anything, the Showtime TV rights fee must've been rather sizable for that much money to be laid out to the fighters, yet no one involved with the event gritting their teeth about the business that the fight ended up doing.

          Assumed you were more intelligent than that; guess I was wrong.

          • I don't see Jacobs being worth more than 500k either. He has no fans, cant sell tickets, draws no viewers. Nothing. He is basically a nobody in boxing.

            Haymon is just using investors cash to randomly overpay fighters, so they dont leave him. Like he paid Lara for a fight against Zaveck 1 Mill, where Lara sold 200 tickets on that race track and against Martirosyan Lara got 700k.

            I bet Loeffler still pays Jacobs way way more than what he is worth, so we hopefully get that fight.

                  Jacobs passed on 2 Quillins, ******. That puts this at way above 5m for the main event only. For all your pathetic effort, you couldn't dig up one with a 4m license fee for the whole card lol

                    Golovkin and his camp have known that they've been outfoxed for a while now. Unfortunately, there's nary away out any longer; either the pay Saunders what he's asking (to delay the mandatory again), they pay Jacobs to bring the fight over, or DiBella/Haymon pull out the wallet and shatter the image that K2/HBO have been trying to push for four years to the boxing public.

                    Cry about it all you want, the outcome is already pretty well known (note: The bid for Golovkin-Jacobs, at least on Haymon's end, won't be anywhere near $100m, and is doesn't have to be. Golovkin has shown that there are holes in his game, and Jacobs winning the fight should pay back whatever the costs of the find end up being, in short order.)

                    If Golovkin vacates the belt, hopefully you give him the same **** that you gave other folks for vacating belts.
                    You do realize what "pricing yourself out" means? Theres a difference between ducking and your opponent pricing themselves out.

                    Then again you're a pbc fan so i should expect even less from you than i would from the average nsb troll.
